Funding For Bangladesh 1.0 Winner
Volunteer Opportunities organised the award-giving ceremony of Funding for Bangladesh – 1.0 on December 23 at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB). to support social development workers overcome various social and financial obstacles.
A total of five winners were selected, each from a category: Science Bee from education, Nandita Surakkha from women empowerment, Arise Help for Child Foundation from health, Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation from peace, and Patuakhalibashi from poverty.

IVD Bangladesh Volunteer Award 2021
The Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, UNV Bangladesh, UNFPA, VSO, and WaterAid jointly organised an event, titled ‘Volunteering Contributions towards Community Development in Bangladesh’ recently in the capital’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
A total of 20 volunteers received the ‘IVD Bangladesh Volunteer Award 2021,’ as they played a significant role in community development.

Young Global Changemakers Award 2021
The 2021 YGC Award attracted more than 500 nominees from over 47 countries around the world. The award conferment ceremony took place online on 26 September. Nahjae Nunes of Jamaica, S. M. Mobin Sikder of Bangladesh, and Nominmaa Ulziibat of Mongolia won the award in the ‘Grand Global Jury Commendation’ category.

1st place- BYLC Volunteer Awards 2021
Pandemic Heroes 2021 was launched on Thursday, September 2. Winners were selected from over 800 individual and over 70 organization submissions across 64 districts.
Winners were shortlisted based on their contribution, impact, reach, and engagement in the categories of individual and organisation submissions. Ten winners of the individual volunteer category received a social action project grant of BDT 10,000, while the top three volunteer organisations respectively received grants of BDT 25,000, BDT 20,000, and BDT 15,000.

Global Education Award 2021
YSSE, a youth-focused social entrepreneurship-based organization in Dhaka, has successfully organized ‘Global Education Summit-2021.’ Held on August 20-21, the event aimed to highlight the interests of the youth who are struggling through the educational revolution of the present times.
The convener of the event, Rafiul Shah, thanked everyone and announced Mobin Sikder, the founder of Science Bee, the winner of the Global Education Award.
